Enigma Prototypes

Paddles that didn't quite make the lineup. These are paddles we tested with but eventually ended up not making them part of the officially lineup. A small description of each is down below. Unless otherwise noted, most of these paddles would pass USAP testing. 

• Homeostasis:
  • This paddle was a 3D18K widebody paddle we tested with. This paddle is not a gen3 paddle since at the time we were testing the widebody shape as well as fiber glass inner layer. This was prior to the gen3 hype. These paddles come in either a white or black edge guard and the fiber glass layer is the bottom layer
• Nirvana:
  • Similar to Homeostasis, this paddle is the hybrid shape. We almost completed testing for this paddle until we realized we should go with a gen3 core instead of just honeycomb polymer. This paddle comes in the gold edge guard and there are two layers of fiber glass in the core. This paddle was initially part of our Karat Gold lineup which we thought was clever since the surface texture is 3D 18K :P
• ProtoX:
  • This paddle is our widebody paddle of the proto lineup. We got very close to releasing this paddle officially however, at testing, USAP lost our paddles and since it took so long, it was easier for us to scrap the project since this would still be just a gen2 paddle and by the time they told us the paddles were lost we were already deep into development for gen3/gen4 paddles. This paddle comes in 14mm thickness. 
• XXX Red (Gen 3)
  • This paddle was our initial gen3 paddle release. We loved the power of this paddle but it was hard to control. Personally I am not too sure these paddles would be USAP approved so buy at your own risk!
• Karat Gold 
  • This paddle was our first batch of 3D18K. Similar to Nirvana and Homeostasis these paddles have a fiber glass layer in the core. We decided to move on from just 3D18k and made a gen3 3D18K which is our Great Wave Enlightenment Paddle. 
• Foam v1
  • This was our first initial trial of our foam paddles. Our foam paddles have not been fully tested by USAP yet but in my opinion this one has substantial power but not much control. Buy at your own risk!
